With more than 24 years of administrative and operational experience, De-anna McPherson is a cornerstone of reliability, detail, and client care within the real estate industry. Her career began locally with over 13 years in the building supply sector, where she developed broad industry knowledge, strong systems thinking, and a deep understanding of construction-related processes — experience that continues to benefit clients and colleagues today.
In 2016, De-anna entered the real estate world and quickly discovered a passion for the fast pace, complexity, and human impact of the business. Nearly two years working in the conveyancing department at RE/MAX allowed her to gain a comprehensive understanding of contracts, compliance, documentation, and the many moving parts behind a successful transaction. Her time supporting multiple REALTORS® across several offices gave her unique insight into process efficiency, client communication, and transaction management at scale — experience that now informs her high standards and exceptional work ethic.
Born in Campbell River and raised in the small coastal town of Tahsis, De-anna has called Vancouver Island home her entire life. She moved to Nanaimo in high school and has been rooted here ever since. The Island’s sense of community, pace, and natural beauty remain at the heart of her personal and professional purpose.
As the oldest of three siblings, leadership and responsibility came naturally to her — qualities she has carried into her career and life as a dedicated single mother. Her two children, Bryce and Abbi, are her greatest joy, motivation, and priority.
Outside of work, you’ll find De-anna spending time with family, reading, crafting with her daughter, or unwinding beside the ocean — her favourite place to reset and listen to the waves. She dreams of traveling the world not broadly, but intentionally — visiting iconic artwork, historic landmarks, and architectural masterpieces she has always longed to see in person.
For De-anna, real estate is about more than contracts and deadlines — it’s about supporting people through some of the most meaningful transitions of their lives. She loves the diversity of each day, the energy of a fast-moving industry, and being part of a team that helps clients achieve life-changing goals.
